It Feels like Home.

Meet Marie.

Marie is a very busy mom, and starts off her day washing the clothes her many children manage to dirty in a such a rapid fashion.

Once the clothes have been washed, dried, and hung to dry, Marie begins the preparations for the Fettuccine dinner and Angel Food Cake dessert she and her family will enjoy.

Marie and her husband enjoy the rare time alone they have to spend together and indulge in a sweet cup of tea (bitter coffee for her spouse) while the children tidy up after their meal.

The Critters at Neat Old Stuff

Looking like royalty in her elaborate cage, this bird is not afraid to flaunt her bedazzled crown.  Some say she is a plain bird, but look closer.  She is pondering the workings of her queendom.  "How do I provide for my loyal subjects while the royal coffers are low?", she mulls.  The responsibilities wear heavily upon her.  She instructs, "Let us rejoice in the changing of the season, and shed the heavy mantle of winter!" I'll agree with that.  I won't let the weight of a challenge keep me from soaring skyward.  "IT IS SPRING!  BELIEVE!" she proclaims.

I'm looking forward to the warmth of spring.  These old bones need it!  At Neat Old Stuff, we're sprucing up our nest and weathering the storms of winter passing.   We're excited to plant our secret garden of treasures.  "Secret garden," you might ask?   Yes, it's a secret garden because most of our customers keep us a secret.  Maybe, that's what makes us so special.  It's our customer's own private refuge from the harsh realities of the world around us.  You should see how customers beam when they arrive with a guest.  Oh the delight they take in revealing the wonderland of pink.  I see the envy in the guest's eyes.  As if to say "Why didn't you tell me about this place?"  I witness the glee when we open the door, followed by "How come I didn't know you were here?" and, "How long have you been here?"

Well.....THE SECRET'S OUT!  We're revealing the contents and we hope you enjoy our secret garden!

As you well know, every garden comes with it's critters.  We have these charming rabbits that claim the Neat Old Stuff  "garden" of goodies as their own.  Perhaps we should change the sign to "Our Garden."

A delightful family of vintage elephant figurines parade the displays of Neat Old Stuff, in preparation to herald in the spring.  We love all the characters of our garden and can't wait to show you the fruits of our labor.  Stay tuned..........
